Financial Modeller (Denmark)

By joining our client as Financial Modeller you’ll be an instrumental player in supporting the development of their portfolio of energy projects, which includes, utility-scale solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, BESS, and Power-to-X in Europe, MENA and North America. You will be reporting directly to the Head of M&A.
Roles and responsibilities:
Model Development and Analysis: Take ownership of financial models, ensuring their maintenance, development, and enhancement. You will be instrumental in performing advanced financial analysis, including pricing, taxation, and business metrics evaluation.
Team Collaboration: As part of the M&A team, you'll contribute to transaction processes and business development, leveraging your expertise in financial modelling. You will not only collaborate with your immediate colleagues, but also work closely with the Development organisation and external stakeholders such as, investment partners.
Process Improvement: Engage in the continuous improvement of our processes by helping define and formalize procedures, tasks, and instructions.
Your profile:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy/infrastructure sector, consultancy, or investment banking.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling, especially in the renewable energy sector. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (with VBA), PowerPoint, and Word.
Language: Fluency in English.
Personal Traits: Entrepreneurial mindset, rigorous attention to detail, autonomous, agile, proactive, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced conditions.
